Cloaking

Serving different content based on the visitor, so moderators and bots see a compliant page while real users reach the offer.

Cloaking presents one page to ad-network moderators, crawlers and bots — typically a plain, policy-compliant "safe page" — and another to genuine visitors, who continue into the offer funnel. It is used on gray verticals to keep advertising accounts from being flagged by automated or manual review.

The decision is made at the edge using signals such as IP reputation, device and TLS fingerprint, referrer and geo. Because it depends on accurately telling a checker from a real user, cloaking and antifraud share the same signal stack.

In d0pe the cloak runs at the edge in front of the Mask; to any moderator or crawler the entry point is a fast "Loading…" page.
